TND Congratulates Ehinor Otaigbe-Amedu, on receiving the prestigious MBE (Member of
the Order of the British Empire) in King Charles III’s New Years Honours list for 2024, for her
outstanding services to women in Greater Manchester.
Ehinor Otaigbe Amedu the Founder of Wonderfully Made Women, An advocate for women
& girls and a UK Black anti-Trafficking Innovator. Wonderfully made women provides
support for women and girls who have experienced significant adversity helping them to
build the confidence and support network they need to thrive. Ehinor, 48, from Bolton, also
started the first African foodbank to support BAME women and their families, which has
supported over 1,890 people.
Ehinor has a Queens award from Queen Elizabeth II and was one of those the queen spoke
at length to when she visited Manchester in 2021.
She is from Edo State, Nigeria, and is an Idia College Alumni
