“Benin Voice UK Demands Justice for Late Colonel Ogbebor’s Family”

It has come to the attention of Benin Voice UK that the estate of late Colonel Paul Osakpamwen Ogbebor, a renowned Edo and Nigerian icon, has been marked for demolition by the FCTA under Minister Wike’s leadership.

We recently watched a disturbing video of FCTA officials attempting to forcibly enter a community in Abuja that has existed for over 40 years. The estate, owned by the late Colonel Paul Osakpamwen Ogbebor, which is now a subject of contention with FCTA. The family resisted the attempt to seize their estate, citing a ridiculous excuse of unpaid ground rent of N43 million.

Further investigation revealed that the land was revoked and allocated to a company owned by Mr. Kingsley Chinda, a serving member of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, representing the Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency of Rivers State. He is also a close associate of FCT Minister Wike. This blatant disregard for property rights and due process is unacceptable. President Tinubu must intervene and investigate these allegations. The people deserve justice and transparency in governance.
