The Nigerian Embassy UK has been improving steadily since 2021
approximately when Ishola was appointed to the office. As far as I can
remember during the era of Tafida, there were no booklets in the Embassy,
appointments were not kept and people not informed, internet payment was
not working and there was frequent insults trading between staff and citizens
out of these frustrations. It was quite bad. Ishola was quite good, the total
opposite. He shored up all the problems above and during an interview I had
with him he said he wants to know of any problems. You can publish them, he
said to me, and comeback to see if they have not been fixed. With Ishola now
recalled from his position what type of ambassador do we want. Simple, one
that can continue from where Ishola left off but making sure we acknowledge
and integrate the brains of clever and influential Nigerians in the UK diaspora
towards building a healthy community here and helping towards the fixing of
our Country, Nigeria. Kemi Badenoch UK Business and trade secretary, the
Imafidons and others need to be welcomed into the Nigerian diaspora
Community.
